Myrddin v0.88 Release Notes -- 7/18/21

Myrddin is a winboard-compliant chess engine to a reasonable degree. It supports 
protover 1 primarily to support the Chessmaster interface, and also protover 2. 

Version 0.88 plays approximately 2500 ELO (CCRL) at 1 CPU and 2600 at 4 CPU 
against chess engines, and probably 100-200 points higher against humans. This 
is an improvement of approximately 110 points compared to version 0.87.

    YAH KNOW,,,,, I HAVE PURCHASED HOUDINI 6 THRU AQUARIUM
    SOFTWARE,,,,, BUT THE ENGINE SAYS THERE IS NO MORE LICENSE
    SO IT IS NOT AS STRONG WITHOUT A LICENSE,,,,
    MAYBE ALL ENGINES WILL SOON BE PPV AND ONLY LAST
    6 MONTHS OF USAGE BEFORE THEY EXPIRE AND EVERYONE
    WILL REQUIRE THE PUBLIC TO PAY EVERY 6 MONTHS OR SO
    SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT,,,,THEN THE REVOLUTION WOULD
    SEE A HOARD OF WRITERS AND AN INCREASE OF PRIVATE
    ENGINES ONLY SEEN ONCE A YEAR IN THE TCEC COMPETITIONS
