Chess engine: CorChess 05.12.2016

CorChess is a clone of Stockfish maintained for better performance on long time controls, trying at least partially to fill the gap between regular tests and demands of correspondence players.

 These builds are currently around 8.5% faster than abrok.eu compiles.

 Official releases of CorChess will be published once a year.
CorChess 1.0 is expected to be published in October 2017.

 My main idea is to improve the following scalability of Stockfish 8.
I hope that CorChess will be:

  bad in blitz (5+0.05);
 solid in rapid (1500+15);
 monster in correspondence play.

We already have the new Fritz 20 program - what does it look like and how does it work?

The purchase process for the download version on the ChessBase website took only 5 minutes. Downloading the files from the cloud was even quicker. The installation itself, which involved five large files, took maybe 7 minutes, including restarting the system and entering the serial number I received upon purchase. The start image for Fritz 20 has a strange mosaic of colors; perhaps I'll get used to it. As you can see in the second screenshot, the program interface hasn't changed much; only the icons are different (we've been using Fritz 17 until now). It looks nice, but it's no major revolution. The next two screenshots show engine management and the installation of the UCI chess engine (here, Cataphract 1.1). As you can see, there are no changes.
