DeleteBeing free is not actually what is asked by GPL (Stockfish license). There is no harm in selling Fisherov as long as the license is respected.
DeleteTo respect the license all is needed is:
- credit the original authors (I believe Fisherov does that)
- Make it possible for the users to obtain the source code of the modifications that is done (Fisherov doesn't do that)
Fisherov is not and has not been sold. He kept all the provisions of the license, only the author did not make the source code available, but it is the programmer's will.

Deleteесть два самых сильных независимых движка - Стокфиш и Драгон, а зачем Фишеров ? ( тем более компиляция Стока).
ReplyDeleteя тестировал Eman 7.70 ( сток) c Blue Маrlin 14.9 ( сток) на процессоре intel Core i9 8 ядер 10 мин - 300 партий, у меня побеждает Eman 7.70. Показали , что есть Eman 7.80, но я его не нашел. Если можно выложите, пожалуйста, для скачивания.
