v.0.1:
This is the official Pedantic 0.1 release for Windows. The current playing strength of this release is about 2276 at hyper-bullet time controls (i.e. 40+0.4) and it plays a little stronger (30-50 Elo) on longer time controls (40/3:00+6).

Pedantic is a chess engine designed to play standard chess via one of the many UCI chess clients (i.e. Arena(http://www.playwitharena.de/), BanksiaGUI(https://banksiagui.com/) or Cute Chess(https://cutechess.com/) for instance.) Any client, GUI, analysis tool designed to work with engines that support the UCI protocol should be able to work with Pedantic. As such, Pedantic is not designed to be used alone to play chess, but it does support some command-line functionality (more on that later.)
