Chess engine: Eubos 2.25 (java engine)

Eubos - a basic Java chess engine, written for kicks. Uses jcpi for the UCI protocol parts. Kind of weak, doesn't evaluate for king safety, for example. Now uses transpostion hashing, but because it runs in the Java VM on a bog standard PC, doesn't search very deeply (around 100K Nodes/s, though this is actually quite hard to evaluate due to the hashing).

Primarily, reworked the use of the hash table in quiescent search. This has yielded a significant Elo improvement. Eubos is now stronger than Dragon 4.6. Latest result on release binary was a 50.7% win rate over 22,500 games.

To install Eubos as an engine in Arena:
1. Select Engines > Install New Engine
2. In the file browser dialog that appears, change the drop down to *.bat
3. Navigate to the Eubos binary location, select the Eubos.bat
4. Select UCI protocol to communicate with Eubos
5. That's it!

  We provide two opening books, in two different formats: bin and ctg. This is enough to be used in almost any chess program (GUI). Of course, every book may contain errors, but this one is based on a high rating. Happy testing! Book - CTG format Customers who wish to use the CTG format book will need a GUI capable of reading this format, ie. Chessbase GUIs.  Please save the book in your book folder. New version chess engine: Lc0 BT4

LcZero - CEDR Rating=3683 vBT4: Big transformer 4. New network architecture which builds off of BT3 by adding two types of auxiliary heads, future heads and categorical value heads. The categorical value heads predict a distribution over values of q rather than a WDL outcome distribution, and the future heads predict the moves that will be played over the next two plies. The hope is that these heads will give additional information to the net to improve training speed. We've also fixed half-precision training, so this model will be larger. BT4 training started in mid-October and is expected to take a few months.     Dragon by Komodo Chess Larry Kaufman: We have released Dragon at komodochess.com. Dragon uses NNUE (Neural Network Updated Efficiently) technology, originally developed for the game of shogi. Komodo has a great deal of chess knowledge in its evaluation. Training an NNUE network based on this evaluation was both an advantage and a challenge, requiring experimentation with architectures and data generation of billions of positions. The reinforcement learning phase for Dragon is in its infancy, but is already showing great promise. Dragon is a huge strength improvement over 14.1, the last release, about 197 elo in MCTS mode and 189 elo in standard mode, at CCRL blitz time control on one thread based on direct matches. With four threads, the gains were 156 elo in MCTS and 170 in standard mode.
