Turbulence v0.0.5 is much stronger than the previous verison, with an estimated elo of ~3000 CCRL. There were many improvements in the search part.
This will be the last version of HCE, consisting of the PeSTO table and a bishop pair bonus. The next version will likely switch to NNUE with self-play generated data.
Each binary is built to utilize specific CPU features. If you're uncertain about your CPU, start by running the v4 binary. If it doesn't launch or respond to commands, proceed to the next lower version and repeat the process until you find a compatible build. If none opens, please open an issue, and I'll try my best to fix.
