Author: Improved version. I've removed the "M" suffix because I only plan Omega in Random mode. The default settings have changed (but they can be changed manually). I've increased the number of plies from 16 to 10, the number of MultiPVs from 2 to 4, and the score from 20 to 12. The behavior in some Zugzwang positions has been improved, not necessarily when analyzing for just a few seconds, but for longer. Engines with the Random Op. MultiPV mode, like Omega, have the advantage over engines without this mode in that their playing strength increases significantly with increasing hardware power. Stockfish in the classic version uses only one variation and searches extremely selectively. This results in some positions not being solved because the search tree is truncated too quickly. Even better hardware often doesn't help, because truncated positions are often discarded entirely. Omega 10 uses four variations by default, which are merged into one variation depending on the set plies (half-moves). Four eyes see more than one. However, such a search also requires more computing power.
