SF professional - new version 25.11.2024

Today, a new version of the SF professional (SF-PRO) chess engine was released, 25.11.2024. This engine has a CEDR rating of - 3766 . We are starting testing this engine today. This engine has a fast but still very good search, and its code is identical to Rems M-2+2 (above) but without random mode (some people prefer to analyze with several normal variants). SpecTral PB 071124 wins New Engines Test, 08.12.2024

Test tournament for 36 new versions of chess engines, 1260 games played. The SpecTral PB 071124 engine won - congratulations. Places 2-5 were taken by the engines: Dark SisTer 8.0, Rems 011224, SF PB 221124, YuliGM Strong 180824. Errors in the Banksia GUI were generated by the Cfish 13 JA engine. How evenly matched the tournament was is evidenced by the fact that the engines that took places from 2nd to 10th scored the same number of points.
