  We provide two opening books, in two different formats: bin and ctg. This is enough to be used in almost any chess program (GUI). Of course, every book may contain errors, but this one is based on a high rating. Happy testing! Book - CTG format Customers who wish to use the CTG format book will need a GUI capable of reading this format, ie. Chessbase GUIs.  Please save the book in your book folder. We strongly recommend that you "Optimize" the book in the Book options dialog so the tournament moves are chosen. The book is very wide even in tournament mode unlike most other books. Nibbler  is  a real-time analysis GUI for Leela Chess Zero (Lc0), which runs Leela in the background and constantly displays opinions about the current position. You can also compel the engine to evaluate one or more specific moves. Nibbler is loosely inspired by Lizzie and Sabaki. These days, Nibbler more-or-less works with traditional engines like Stockfish, too. Nibbler is loosely inspired by Lizzie. Omega - new chess engine by Solista (Stockfish derivatives) Author: This version includes the Random Op. MultiPV mode. This analyzes multiple variations in parallel up to a certain search depth and then merges them into a single variation. The search depth (in plies) and the number of variations (MultiPV) can be adjusted. The default is 2 variations and the search depth is 16. For ENG games, the number of variations should be set to 1. Some experts even analyze up to 4 variations (like a FS grandmaster); try it out for yourself. This engine is designed for fans of this mode. Keep in mind that this version is naturally slower in its search. If you use the normal MPV mode, you must first increase the number of Random Op. MultiPV by the same amount. Group E-07 of the amateur chess engine league has ended. The winner was the Chess.cpp 4.1.0 JA engine. Places 2-4 were taken by the Maestro Chess Engine 1.2.1 JA, Sturddle 2.02 and Illumina 2.0 engines. These four engines advanced to group E-06. In turn, the last four engines in the table were relegated to group E-08.
