Peras 3.6.1 is the latest version of a powerful chess engine

Peras - A strong UCI chess engine in Rust, for standard chess, Chess960 and five other variants.
Author: Jesse Sissala  Rating CEDR=3785

Peras is a fascinating and powerful chess engine, with initial tests showing impressive results, as highlighted on our website. Hats off to the talented programmer from Finland.

What's new?
Elo-neutral, and not a regression. A forced move reports a searched score rather than a static evaluation.

Score of v3.6.1 vs v3.6.0: 868 - 813 - 2402  [0.507] 4083
Elo: +4.7 +/- 6.8  (LOS 91.0%), 0 time losses
SPRT bounds elo0=-5 elo1=0, alpha=beta=0.05, 10s+0.1s, one thread
Fixed
With one legal move under a clock, the engine played it at once and reported the static evaluation. Forced moves mostly come in the middle of a tactic, such as out of check, where that number means little, and it is the score the GUI shows. It now takes an exact score of depth 5 or more that the previous search left in the transposition table, for the position or the one after the move; failing that, it searches on an eighth of its usual time target, stopping by a quarter.
