Stockfish 17.1 vs Mid-range Chess Engines (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, 2025.12.07)

Another tournament where Stockfish 17.1 "tested" chess engines aspiring to the elite. Reckless 0.9.0-dev, PlentyChess 7.0.29, and Obsidian dev-16.15 SE performed best. The latest engine, Caissa 1.24, performed rather poorly.
