A new version of one of the longest-developed chess engines has been released - Arasan 25.1. The engine plays very strongly and is ranked high at 28th place in the CEDR ranking. We will start the first tests of this engine soon.

Arasan has both a native user interface (for Windows only) and a console-based chess engine for use with Winboard or xboard. Arasan also works with Arena, another free chess interface, and with UCI-compatible programs like Fritz and Chessbase.
Arasan includes an opening "book" with over 900,000 moves.
Arasaa 25.3 what's new?

1) Increase L1 size to 1792
2) New network, trained on 6B+ lc0 + selfplay games
3) Fix training script to sync with recent bullet updates
4) More changes to book selection logic
5) Omit positions from book with blunder eval or only losses
6) Code cleanup, especially in the SIMD code
7) Fix incorrect filtering of tablebase moves at root
8) Update to latest Fathom
9) Bug fixes involving handling of search statistics
10) Ponder option fixes. Set ponder off by default.

12) import lichess-org/chess-openings for ECO coding
