This patch continues trend of last VLTC tuning - as measured by dubslow most of it gains was in lowering marging in calculation of singularBeta. This patch is a manual adjustment on top of it - it lowers multiplier of depth in calculation of singularBeta even further, from 2/3 to 1,5/2,5.

The purchase process for the download version on the ChessBase website took only 5 minutes. Downloading the files from the cloud was even quicker. The installation itself, which involved five large files, took maybe 7 minutes, including restarting the system and entering the serial number I received upon purchase. The start image for Fritz 20 has a strange mosaic of colors; perhaps I'll get used to it. As you can see in the second screenshot, the program interface hasn't changed much; only the icons are different (we've been using Fritz 17 until now). It looks nice, but it's no major revolution.
