Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa wins Superbet Classic Romania

A playoff was needed to determine the winner of the Superbet Classic Romania in Bucharest. The leader, Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, was joined in the playoff by Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (who defeated Duda) and Alireza Firouzja (who won his game against Deac), thanks to their victories in the final round.

Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa won one game in the playoff to secure first place in the Superbet Classic Romania.

World Champion Dommaraju Gukesh finished in seventh place.
