The engine can be about 50% faster if compiled on the machine on which it will be run in order to take advantage of cpu-specific instructions.

UCI & Ponder Fixes
Bug Fixes
Fixed ponder with time controls — go ponder wtime X btime Y previously entered the infinite-time branch, so ponderhit had no time limits to apply and the engine would search indefinitely. Now correctly parses wtime/btime and applies soft/hard time limits on ponderhit.
New UCI Options
Move Overhead (spin, default 10, range 0–5000ms) — configurable time reserved per move for communication overhead. Replaces the previous hardcoded 5ms reduction.
UCI_ShowWDL (check, default false) — accepted for compatibility with GUIs and lichess-bot (output not yet implemented).
No Engine Changes
Same NNUE net and search as v1.0.42. Playing strength is unchanged.
