Since version 19, new activation functions were researched and added for significant gain (https://asteri.sm/files/2026-01-13-activation, https://asteri.sm/files/2026-01-27-activation-2), extensions to the UCI interface that permit more intuitive interaction were implemented, thread selection became more intelligent, move ordering was enhanced, search was developed, and Threat Inputs to the NNUE were implemented – this release contains a cutting-edge enhancement thereupon, swedishchef’s Pawn-Pawn Inputs.
