The 2nd Chess Engine League (June 2026 edition) has concluded. Pawnocchio 2.0 dev-a8f09e7 took first place, Uralochka 3.42a finished second, and Lc0 0.32.1 came in third. These top three engines have advanced to the 1st League. Particularly noteworthy is Pawnocchio's meteoric rise; this year alone, the engine climbed all the way into the TOP-16 by storming through the Qualifiers, as well as the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd leagues!
Meanwhile, the bottom three engines in the standings—Igel 3.6.3 JA, Spaghet-BologNNese 1.0, and Velvet 9.0.0 dev-7 JA—have been relegated to the 3rd League.
