Petrel, about the engine:
The latest version of the Petrel engine has been released, and it recently competed in the CEDR Chess Engine League Group C qualifiers for the 08/2026 season. Finishing in third place, it secured a promotion to Group B.

I expect this version to be stable.
Major strength improvement (and 2.5x NPS drop) by increasing NNUE size (128->1024).
Major NNUE code refactoring.
