"This engine is the successor to my Strato series. The code is based on Strato II, though the search is slightly broader. Some positions are solved sooner, others a bit later. Overall, the advantages outweigh the downsides, and those with fast hardware should use Strato III. The NNUE network has also been updated; while Strato II’s network dates from May 2026, the network in Strato III is from July 2026. The networks are not interchangeable, despite sharing the same dimensions. The parameters differ, requiring adjustments in the `src/nnue/` folder. "
