Chess engine: Cadie 2.1 JA (Windows, Linux and Android)
Cadie - UCI Engine
Author: Martin Wyngaarden Rating Chess Engines Diary CEDR=3014
v.2.1:
This release includes many changes and additions to the position evaluation code. In self-play, Cadie 2.1 is ~120 Elo stronger than Cadie 2.0 at the 120"+1" time control. Hopefully, this will translate to at least 90+ Elo in the rating lists.
Most of the code changes are refactoring. Elo gains come mainly from the improved evaluation.
Windows executables are attached. These have only been tested on Windows 10. The AVX2 compile should be the most performant on modern CPUs. Optimized builds from Jim Ablett will hopefully follow soon.
