Taumax is a UCI-compliant chess engine written in Rust, that explores the ideas expressed by Alex Wissner-Gross's, causal entropic intelligence equation.
the goal of Taumax is not to be a strong chess engine, but instead, to explore ways in which causal entropy may be applied to an adversarial context, like the game of Chess.

Vesper is a chess engine written in Rust. It communicates through the Universal Chess Interface (UCI), so it can be used from a chess GUI or driven directly from a terminal.
The project is intended to be a compact, readable engine that can be improved over time. Its implementation is organized around a bitboard chess position, legal move generation, handcrafted/NNUE evaluation and a time-controlled game-tree search.
