The Chess Engine League qualifiers are nearly over, with Challenger Group D (Season 09/2026) now wrapped up. JustBot 0.4.0 claimed the top spot, followed by Clockwork 20260826, Rodent V 1.2, Zigqueen 6.0.0, Bagatur.cpp 1.0, and Ursus 1.1.0 in positions two through six. Engines finishing in spots 25–30 have been relegated to Group E.
