Yakka 1.6 - new version chess engine
Yakka - UCI chess engine.

Yakka is a Chess Engine writen in object pascal (Delphi) that implements the Universal Chess Interface (UCI) protocol.
It is recommended to use a Chess GUI application such as Arena, Banksia GUI Cute Chess.

Yakka - what's new?
Yakka v1.6
24 Sep 2026 release.
Implemented support for Syzygy Table Bases and MultiPV.
Playing strength gain due to search parameter tuning and bug fixes.
You can download the precompiled Windows executable: 'Yakka v1.6 x64.exe'
This will run on x86-64 CPU's which support the BMI2 and AVX2 instruction sets.
